• Do not place the product near sharp or hot objects.
• Do not place the compressor cooler near loose objects that could fall on the cabinet,
block the ventilation slots and obstruct its operation.
• Never operate the compressor cooler next to flammable liquids or vapours.
OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before starting the product for the first time, place the unit in a horizontal position and
leave it in this position for 12 hours. Then, wipe it inside and outside with a damp cloth
for hygienic reasons.
CARRYING THE COMPRESSOR COOLER
The compressor cooler is fitted with two side handle. The handles should be used to lift
and move the compressor cooler.
WARNING: The lid latch must never be used to lift or move the compressor cooler.
CAUTION: The compressor cooler should always be lifted by at least two people.
PERFORMANCE HINTS
• Secure that your compressor cooler is well ventilated so that any heat created can
dissipate. Otherwise, proper functioning cannot be guaranteed. Do not to cover the
air vents.
• Allow hot food to cool down first before placing it into the device.
• Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not excessively refrigerated.
Liquids expand when they freeze and can therefore destroy the glass containers.
• Fill the compressor cooler with food and beverages which have already been
refrigerated.
• Place the compressor cooler in a well-ventilated area which is protected from direct
sunlight.
• Avoid setting the target temperature unnecessarily low.
• Do not open the compressor cooler more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the lid open longer than necessary!
• Defrost the compressor cooler once the ice starts to form.
CONNECTING TO 12/24 V DC OR 220-240 V AC
• The compressor cooler can be operated on either 12 V, 24 V DC or 220-240 V AC.
• Prior to connecting, check whether the voltage indicated on the manufacturer's
label is in accordance with the battery voltage. Ensure whether the circuit is in good
condition and has the correct capacity to power the compressor cooler.
• Press "SET" and "UP" buttons at the same time for 5 seconds to check the input
power.
• Under no circumstances should you try to split the wires of an extension cord.
• Do not use a power strip or two-way splitter.
• Never handle the plugs, leads or switches with wet hands or while standing on a wet
surface.
DC:
1.
Plug the 12/24 V DC power lead into the DC power socket on the back panel of the
compressor cooler.
2. Connect the DC plug to cigarette lighter socket.
3. The compressor cooler is equipped with an electronic system to prevent reverse
polarity for safety reasons. This protects the device against short circuits when
connected to a battery.
