USINGTHEWORLDRADIO
FMRADIO
1. Touch the FM key.
2. Manually select an FM station by turning the right
control dial.
3. Automatically select an FM station by pushing the
right control dial.
DABRADIO
( availableonlyforWorldRadioDAB+ )
1. Touch the DAB key.
2. Select a DAB station by turning the right control
dial. Then click the right control dial or wait for a
few seconds.
WorldRadio DAB+ is compatible with DAB, DAB+,
DMR and DMB.
UsingDABforthefirsttime( "Scan"function )
Initially the WorldRadio DAB+ Model has no DAB
stations stored. Through the "Scan" function, the
radio will find the available stations in your region.
Afterwards the stations are automatically stored.
The "Scan" function is also needed after traveling to
a new location with different radio stations, or when
you move the WorldRadio to a room with a different
radio reception.
1. Touch the DAB key.
2. Turn the right control dial to select "Scan" on the
menu. Then click the right control dial or wait for a
few seconds.
3. Once all available stations have been found, you
will see a radio station list.
LINE-IN
1. Connect one end of a Line-In cable to the audio
device ( headphone or Line-Out plug ).
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the Line-In
plug on the back of the WorldRadio.
3. Touch the
key.
BLUETOOTH
Mobile phones and computers with Bluetooth can
connect to the WorldRadio and play music. The mobile
phone or computer must support BluetoothA2DP.

1. Touch the WorldRadio
key. Wait for 20 seconds
until the display shows "Pairing".
2. Select "settings" on your iPhone
. Select "General /
®
Bluetooth". Turn on Bluetooth. New Bluetooth
devices are discovered automatically. After a few
seconds "Geneva ... ( Not Paired )" will appear.
3. Select "Geneva ...". The phone is now connecting
( "Pairing" ) to the WorldRadio.
4. If the phone asks for a PIN: enter "0000"
( four zeros ).
5. Now you can play music on an iPhone
App "iPod"
®
and listen to it on the WorldRadio.

Go to genevalab.com and select "Support".

PlayingMusic
1. Touch . The WorldRadio will initially search for
previously paired devices.
2. When the WorldRadio connects, the display shows
"Connected" for a few seconds.
3. Play music on the mobile phone. Music will start
playing on the WorldRadio automatically after a
few seconds. Most phones connect automatically
to the WorldRadio after the initial setup ("Pairing").
ALARM
The red alarm bell and red time on top of the display
indicate that the alarm is enabled. If there is no alarm
bell on the display, the alarm is disabled.
SettingtheAlarm
1. Turn on the WorldRadio, then touch the
key to
set the desired alarm time.
2. To select the hour turn the right control dial, then
push the right control dial.
3. To select the minutes turn the right control dial,
then push the right control dial to confirm the
alarm time. After setting the alarm time, the alarm
is enabled.
Enablinganddisablingthealarm
The the alarm can be enabled and disabled by touch-
ing the
key.
Alarmsound
There are two alarm sounds ( radio or beep ) which are
selected automatically.
• Radio: If the radio is playing when turning
the WorldRadio off, the radio will be used as the
alarm sound.
• Beep: If Bluetooth or Line-In are playing when
turning the WorldRadio off, the beep will be used
as the alarm sound.
SETTINGTHETIME
Setting the time works differently for the two
WorldRadio models:
WorldRadio
1. Touch
key.
2. To select the hour turn the right control dial, then
push the right control dial.
3. To select the minutes turn the right control dial,
then push the right control dial to store the time.
WorldRadioDAB+
Every time the WorldRadio gets a valid time signal
from a DAB station, it will set the time automatically.
If there are no DAB stations, it is possible to set the
time manually:
1. Touch
key. Push the right control dial for three
seconds until the the time menu appears.
2. To select the hour turn the right control dial, then
push the right control dial.
3. To select the minutes turn the right control dial,
then push the right control dial to store the time.
