2. Important safety information

The sauna control Modern Finnish Plug'n'Play is constructed ac-
cording to recognised safety regulations. However, risks can arise
during use. Therefore please observe the following safety information
and the special warnings in the individual chapters.

2.1. Use as intended

The sauna control Modern Finnish Plug'n'Play controls and regu-
lates domestic sauna heaters in accordance with technical data.
It can only be used to control and regulate a heating circuit with a
heat output of max. 3.6 kW.
Any use exceeding this is considered otherwise than as intended.
Use otherwise than as intended can lead to product damage, se-
rious injury or death.

2.2. Safety information for installation

● Installation and connection work may only be undertaken on the
sauna control when the device is unplugged.
● If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must
be replaced by a special connection cable available from the
manufacturer or its customer service.
● The sauna control must be installed outside of the sauna cabin
at a height of approx. 1.70 m or in accordance with the cabin
manufacturer's recommendations. The ambient temperature
must not exceed 40 °C.
● The heater sensor must be installed in such a way that it is not
affected by incoming air.
● Also heed the local regulations at the installation site.
● Unauthorised changes or conversions to the sauna control are
not permitted for safety reasons.
