The following screen shows the user interface from which it is possible to carry out all the functions of the
software.

The software provides two operating modes, with or without direct connection to the INGECON EMS Manager (Off-
line mode).
• Direct connection (Control bar > Connect): the system must have internet access to gain remote access
from the application or communication should be made locally with the device. For this last option,
connect the INGECON EMS Manager to the same network as the PC.
• Off-line mode (Control bar > Disconnect): the software lets you view the set parameters of the plant and
the product data stored on the PC. The system icons will be displayed in grey.

6.4. Plant access in installer mode

Installer mode must be enabled to be able to perform the configuration process or any later change in the system.
Follow the guidelines given below:
1. On the start screen of the software, access the plant by selecting Open.
2. Press the F12 key to view the command bar and type: access ingeconinstaller. A configuration message
will be displayed. On exiting the application, access as an installer will be cancelled.
Once installer mode is enabled, continue with the configuration process:
3. Establish direct connection with INGECON EMS Manager (Control bar > Connect).
4. Stop the system control (Control bar > Control > Stop control).
5. Perform the initial configuration or later changes.
Any configuration added or modified will display an INGECON EMS Manager reboot notice (Control
bar > Control > Reboot EMS).
This reboot will only be necessary once all configuration is complete. If it is not rebooted, the
changes will be not taken into account in the INGECON EMS Manager control.
6. Once the configuration process is complete, make sure the plant status is in Start mode (Control bar >
Control > Start Control).

6.5. Initial configuration

This section provides guidelines for the initial set-up of the system. All elements of the installation must be
configured: the INGECON EMS Manager, wattmeter and units.
