You can use the kill feature on each channel to remove low, mid and high bands for a smoother mix and to mix
frequencies from both channels to create special effects.
14. BPM display
Channel A and channel B are equipped with a BPM display. These displays are updated every 2 seconds and
they display the beats per minute
The display will show "- -" if the number of beats cannot be determined or when no signal is present.
You can use the BPM displays to determine which tracks have (approximately) the same number of BPM. When
mixing two tracks with a similar number of BPM, you can use the pitch control of one source to align the BPM
with the BPM of the other source. The BPM displays are updated every 2 seconds and will indicate when the
BPM of both sources have been aligned.
15. Punch out button
The punch out button (13) allows you to eliminate a channel's signal from the mix when the crossfader is set to
that channel.

16. Power switch

Activates and deactivates the device. All controls should be placed in their minimum positions when operating
this switch.
17. Rotary phone level control
Adjusts the level of the stereo headphones.
18. Headphone jack
This is where you plug in your headphones.
19. Channel mixing phone system
The user hears both the CUE and the master channel when wearing the headphones. This system determines
the importance of both channels in that mix.
20. Talkover selector
The LED lights when this switch is in the ON position and the volume of all channels is reduced by 12dB, with
the exception of the DJ MIC channel.
21. Output level master 1
Adjusts the level of the output signal for master 1.
22. Output level master 2
Adjusts the level of the output signal for master 2.
23. Rotary balance control
Adjusts the level of the left/right channel.
24. VU meters
The LEDs indicate the left and right levels of the master output.
25. Mono/stereo selectable
Activate the MONO button (mono LED will light) to make the overall output MONO.

26. Display button

The dual function LED display indicates either the levels of master outputs 1 & 2 or the levels of channels A & B.
Press the display button to select one of these options. When the LED display is in the CH A/CH B display
mode, you can increase or decrease the signal to match the other channel's signal by adjusting the individual
channel gain and tone controls. The channel slides and crossfader have no effect on the display readings.
