Test the position before you fi x the strip in place: Set up the motion sensor in the
desired location and lay the LED strips approximately where they need to be fi xed
in place. Only connect the mains adapter to a socket. When you darken the room,
you can check to see if the lighting is activated as intended. Once this is done,
you can stick the sensor and the LED strips fi rmly in place (see step 5 et seq.).
9. Connecting to the mains supply – Connect the mains adapter to an easily acces-
sible socket. The mains voltage must comply with the technical data of the product.
The night light is now ready for operation. When it is dark, it will switch on for the preset
time once the sensor detects movement.

4. Positioning the motion sensor – For the motion sensor,
select a location where it is able to properly capture the
light and movements in the respective room. However,
position it so that it does not react to all movements (e.g.
a person sleeping in bed) in an undesirable manner. If, for
example, you would like to put the LED strips on your bed
frame, we recommend securing the sensor on the foot of
your bed (positions A, B or C in the fi gure).
5. Cleaning the surfaces – In order for the motion sensor
and the LED strips to stick in place, the surface they are
stuck to must be smooth, dry and free of dust, grease and
dirt.
6. Affi xing the motion sensor – Adhesion: Pull a protec-
tive foil off of the double-sided adhesive pad and stick it
on the cover on the back of the motion sensor. Then pull
the second protective foil off and stick the sensor on the
desired area.
Screwing in place: There are two round holes for screws
(not included in the product contents) in the cover of the
motion sensor. Take the cover off and screw them in
place.
7. Sticking LED strips in place – ATTENTION! When
cutting the strips to size and sticking them in place,
the LED strips may not be connected to the mains
supply!
Gradually roll a LED strip out, remove the protective foil
and stick it on the desired area. If it is too long, cut it along
one of the marks. In this case, pull the plastic cap off of
the end of the LED strip that has been cut off (note: this
one can no longer be used) and stick it on the "new" end.
Do the same with the second LED strip.
8. Mounting the cable holders – We recommend that you
use the enclosed cable holders. Pull the protective foil off,
stick the cable holders on a smooth, dry, dust, grease and
dirt-free area and hang the cables in them.
