1. Scaling function (G) and periodontal function (P)

1.1 Operation
• Open the packing box, make sure that all the parts and accessories are complete according to the packing list.
Take the main unit out of the box and put it on a stable plane.
• Turn the water control knob to the max.
• Insert the plug of the foot switch to its socket. (See figure 3).
• Water way installation :
* Water supply from the water bottle:
Install the bottle with adequate water or solution.
• Connect the handpiece and the connector of cable correctly.
• Insert the plug of the power source to its socket.
• Switch on the main unit.
- For the scaling function (G) the scaling indicator and the first five power indicators light up.
- For periodontal function (P) the scaling indicator and the first three power indicators light up.
• Press water button to choose water function. The indicator of chosen mode is on.
• Select a suitable scaling tip as you need then screw it on the handpiece tightly by the torque wrench.
• Under normal working conditions of the scaling tip, a light touch and a certain to-and-fro motion will eliminate the tartar
without heating. Prolonged intensive use should be avoided.
• Vibrating intensity : Adjust the power of the vibrations as you need. According to patient's different sensitivity
and the rigidity of the tartar, adjust the vibrating intensity during the clinical treatment.
• Water volume adjust : Step on the foot switch, and the tip begins to vibrate, then turn the water control knob to form
fine spray to cool down the handpiece and clean the teeth.
• The handpiece must be handled in the same gesture as a pen in hand.
• During clinical treatment, ensure that the end of the tip does not touch the tooth vertically and avoid using excessive force
which could induce pain to the patient and damage to the insert.
• After finishing operation, keep the machine running for 30 seconds with the water supply on in order to clean
the handpiece and the scaling tip.
• Unscrew the insert and remove the handpiece prior to sterilization.
