1. EQUlPMENT DESCRlPTlON
The 5 STAGE feedwater comes from house installation cold water piping. The water enters the 1 st water
treatment phase via the inlet stopcock.
nlet valve The shut-off valve closes when the water level in the accumulation tank reaches
maximum and ope4ns when the level drops.
Minimum pressurestat this is a sensor in models with pump and UVA that prevents operation
if the required minimum pressure is not attained. Thus, it protects the pressure pump in the
absence of incoming water.
Sediment pre-filtration this filter consists of a 5-micron cartridge that eliminates particles in
suspension and protects the active carbon filter.
5 STAGES with pump option the OSMOSER incorporates the necessary elements to ensure elimination
of salts in low-pressure water installations. t comprises a pressurisation pump and the associated electrical
transformer.
Active carbon pre-filtration for reasons of hygiene, the mains water almost always contains
a certain concentration of chlorine (Cl). The disadvantage of chlorine is that it produces a bad
taste and sometimes and unpleasant smell.
The active carbon completely eliminates the taste and smell and protects the reverse osmosis
membrane, which is sensitive to chlorine.
Compact carbon pre-filtration This filter reinforces the previous function, eliminates any possible
remaining chlorine taste that the water might contain.
Shut-off this is an automatic shut-off valve which prevents continuous drainage of
rejected water once the tank is full.
Reverse osmosis membrane this membrane is made of polyamide (TFC). This is where most of
the salt is separated from the water, resulting in concentrate and permeate.
The concrete carries along the saline content that passes through the flow-rate reducing system which,
together with the non-return valve, will prevent the return of the concentrate going to the drain.
The permeated water is free from contaminants and is stored in the pressurised accumulated tank.
After passing through the active carbon filter, this removes any possible residual taste that could result from
the water passing through the RO membranes, together with adjusting the outgoing water pH.
5 STAGES with UVA lamp option
