Remove any adjustment key from tool; remove any drill bit from tool before switching tool on.
17. Avoid unintentional starting
Ensure switch is in "off" when plugging in.
Do not carry tool with the switch on the "ON" position.
18. Use outdoor extension leads
When the tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for outdoor use and so marked.
19. Stay alert
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate tool when you are tired, under the
influence of alcohol, prescription medicines or drugs.
20. Check damaged parts
- Before further use or reuse of the tool, tool should be carefully checked to determine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended function.
- Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any
other conditions that may affect its operation.
- Any parts should be installed properly to comply with the conditions of the machine safe operation.
- A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized
service centre unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual.
- Have defective switches replaced by an authorized service centre
- Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.
- Never use damaged wheels or accessories.
- Regularly check the wheels for signs of wear or damage.
21. Warning
The use of any accessory or attachment, other than one recommended in this instruction manual may
present a risk of injury (to persons or animals) and may cause damages.
The user and/or operator are responsible for any damages or injury caused to properties and/or
persons.
22- Have your tool repaired by a qualified person
This electric tool complies with the relevant safety rules. Repairs should only be carried out by
qualified persons using original spare parts; otherwise this may result in considerable danger to the
user.
23. Remarks
The safety precautions and instructions given in this manual are unable to cover in detail all the
conditions and situations that may arise.
The operator and/or user must use common sense and caution when operating the product especially
for any matters that are not referred in the above.
24. Special safety guidelines
24.1. Check the grinding wheel before use for possible damages. Do not use grinding wheels that are
cracked, torn or damaged
24.2. Check that the rotation speed given on the wheel is greater than or equal to the rated speed of the
machine
24.3. The grinding wheel must be securely installed with the mounting nut.
24.4. The screws on grinding wheel housing assembly must be properly screwed on.
24.5. A wheel that is already damaged or deformed should not be further used.
Use only original grinding wheel, which is delivered or recommended by the manufacturer.
24.6. Burning hazard: the drill bit may become hot during sharpening, handle drill bit with caution
(for ex. Use gloves) or allow the tip to cool down before touching it.
25. Handling, transport and storage of grinding wheels:
Grinding wheels are fragile, as well as sensitive to impact and shocks.
Therefore special precautions are necessary:
a) do not let the grinding wheel fall and avoid impacts effects.
b) do not use a dropped or damaged wheels.
c) Avoid vibrations or vibrations during application
