For the drink in the thermo jug to keep its temperature as long as possible, it is
recommended to heat - or in case of cold drinks - cool the thermo jug. Depending on
the type of drink the thermo jug can be rinsed on the inside with hot or cold water, or
filled with water of an appropriate temperature for some time before the prepared
beverage is poured into the thermo jug. In this manner the proper temperature for
functioning of the thermo jug can be achieved.
Do not fill the thermo jug with carbonated drinks, dairy products, or baby formula as
bacteria may form in the thermo jug.
Prior to filling the thermo jug with water or tea, if coffee was previously in the thermo
jug it is necessary to wash thoroughly to remove the odor of coffee.
Cleaning

Open the cover using the tabs at the top of the pump and remove the pump tube
from the thermo jug
•
The thermo jug and pump tube should be cleaned in warm water with a mild
cleaning agent after each use.

Wipe the outside of the thermo jug with a soft, moist cloth.
•
Hard water can leave white mineral deposits on the inside of the thermo jug.
Coffee generally dyes these deposits and leaves brown stains. In order to
remove them, use a commonly available cleaning agent.

Thoroughly rinse the thermo jug multiple times and leave open for it to dry.
•
Never use harsh cleaning agents that might scratch the unit.
•
Never place the thermo jug in a dishwasher.
•
Never place the thermo jug in water.
•
Never use abrasive cleaning agents.
•
Use only a soft cloth. Never use any harsh cleaning agents or tools that might scratch
the stainless steel surface of the thermo jug.
•
After cleaning, leave the thermo jug open for it to dry completely after which it may
be stored away for future use.
