Description and Use

The Easy Dry hair dryer (in this manual, the "appliance") is a wall mounted unit that can be installed in the
bathrooms or shower rooms of private dwellings, hotels, community premises and sports facilities. The
appliance is made in two versions:
Easy Dry Manual: model activated manually, by pressing the button on the front panel, or inserting a coin or
token into an acceptor connected to the appliance;
Easy Dry Auto: model activated automatically.
These appliances have been designed for use in residential and
commercial properties.
See under "Use" for a more detailed description of the various functionalities offered by the appliance.

• Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that described in this booklet.
• Having removing the appliance from its packaging, ensure that it is intact and undamaged. If in doubt,
contact a Vortice Technical Support Centre.
• Do not leave packaging within reach of children or individuals with disabilities.
• Certain fundamental rules must be observed when using any electrical appliance:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
- never touch the appliance while barefoot.
• Do not use the appliance where there are inflammable substances and vapours (alcohol, insecticides, petrol,
etc.).
• Do not stand objects on the appliance.
• The appliance must be installed safely beyond the reach of persons when taking a shower or bath in a cubicle
or tub.
This appliance can be used by children no less than 8 years of age
and by individuals with limited physical, sensory or mental
capacities, or by inexperienced or untrained individuals, provided
that they are supervised or have been instructed in safe use of the
appliance and understand the associated risks. Children must not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance procedures that
can be undertaken by the user must not be entrusted to children,
unless under supervision.

• Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.
• Do not expose this appliance to the elements (rain, sun, etc.).
• Make certain that the air inlet and outlet grilles of the appliance are never masked or obstructed, so as to
ensure a free flow of air.
• Inspect the appliance regularly to verify its integrity and good repair. If the appliance is defective in any way,
do not use it; contact a Vortice Technical Support Centre without delay.
• The electrical system to which the appliance is connected must comply with current regulations.
• The appliance must be installed in the position indicated by the manufacturer: vertically disposed, with the
warm air outlet directed downwards.
• The appliance is double insulated and therefore does not require an earth connection at the socket or fixed
wiring point.
• Make the connection to the wiring point/socket outlet only if the rated power of the system/socket is able to
meet the maximum power demand of the appliance. If this is not the case, arrange for a qualified electrician
to remedy the situation.
• The appliance must be wired to the power supply by way of a multi-pole isolating switch with a gap of at least
