Starting and setting the appliance
Meaning of the symbols and functions that may appear on your screen
WARNINGS
Temperature warning
• When your freezer's temperature is too high, the warning light comes on, the buzzer
sounds and the freezer's temperature indicator starts to flash.
• Press any button to switch off the buzzer.
• The light stays lit and the temperature indicator continues to flash until the correct
temperature has been reached.
• If the temperature warning is triggered, the Quick Freeze function activates
automatically:
• the warning symbol lights up and SF appears on the freezer's temperature display.
Refrigerator door open warning
• An audible beep warns you if you leave the refrigerator's door open for more than
60 seconds.
• At the same time, the warning light comes on.
• Press any button (>/ + / -) to switch off the buzzer or close the refrigerator's door
properly; the light remains lit until the door is closed.
• If this signal appears instead of the refrigerator or freezer temperature, it means
that the temperature sensors are probably.
• A safety procedure starts automatically to ensure that the appliance can operate but
the Technical Assistance Department must be called.
ATTENTION
Your refrigerator's internal temperature is strictly dependent on the ambient temperature,
how frequently the appliance's doors are opened and the amount and the temperature of the
food you have placed in the refrigerator. You must therefore regularly check the temperature
indicator on your refrigerator and adjust the temperature setting if necessary.
If the ambient temperature is very low, we recommend that you leave the Quick Freeze
function on.
The temperatures that appear on the screen correspond to the requested temperatures and
not the actual temperatures.
Even when the screen is off, there is still mains power to your appliance.
