clockwise and pulling the battery cartridge 4 out .
Insert three 1 .5 V / AA batteries .
Note: Ensure correct polarity . This is indicated on the
battery cartridge 4 .
Insert the battery cartridge 4 back into the product (along
the red arrow on the battery tray) and turn the base /
battery compartment cap 6 clockwise onto the product .

Press the ON / OFF button 5 to switch the product on .
Press the ON / OFF button 5 again .

The SOS-flashing function will now start .
Press the ON / OFF button 5 again to switch the product
off .
˜ Standing up / suspending the product
The product can be used in three ways without having to
hold it in your hand:
1 . Stand the product up by setting it upright on the stand 7 .
2 . Fold out the hanger 2 to suspend the product from a
suitable suspension point . The hanger 2 can be turned
through 360° .
3 . Hold the magnet 3 against a metallic magnetic surface .
The product remains in this position .
