5.3.2 Functional test at
(secondary check valve)
Open the stop valve in front of the Backflow Preventer.

Open test valve C, read the pressure on the scale and write it down.

Close the stop valve in front of the Backflow Preventer. Release the pressure via

the isolation valve on the test hose B. A slight pressure drop can occur.
Wait at least 2 minutes. If no further pressure drop occurs, the secondary check

valve is ok.

Maintenance:
Follow the operating instructions enclosed with the backflow
preventer for additional maintenance work. That also applies to the
installation of original spare parts.
