THERMOSTAT
Einstellbereich des Thermostats über Drehknopf von
0 °C bis + 40 °C. Der Ventilator läuft – bei eingeschal-
tetem Gerät – ständig, d. h. auch wenn der
Thermostat die Heizung abgeschaltet hat. Dadurch
wird eine gleichmäßige Wärmeverteilung im Raum
bewirkt. Soll der Ventilator nur bei aktiver Heizung
laufen, ist das Motorkabel von Klemmleiste 1 auf
Klemmleiste 2 zu legen, siehe Schaltschema auf der
Unterseite des Gehäusedeckels.
ZEITEINSTELLUNG ÜBER DIGITALEN TIMER
Alle Typen ab 9 kW sind serienmäßig mit einem 24h-
Timer ausgestattet. Der Einschaltzeitpunkt kann bis
zu 24 Stunden im voraus eingestellt werden. (Abb.2)

ÜBERHITZUNG
Das Gerät ist mit einem Temperaturbegrenzer aus-
gerüstet. Er tritt in Funktion, wenn sich innerhalb des
Gerätes eine unzulässig hohe Temperatur einstellt.
Nach Abkühlung kann das Gerät durch manuelles
Eindrücken des Temperaturbegrenzers wieder in
Betrieb genommen werden. Bei wiederholtem An-
sprechen ist nach der Ursache zu suchen.
WICHTIG: Nach Abschalten der Heizung sollte
das Gerät im Ventilatorbetrieb ein paar Minuten
nachlaufen, um den Elektro-Heizlüfter abzukühlen
bzw. Stauwärme zu vermeiden.
STH 3 ist mit einem autom. Temperaturbegrenzer
ausgerüstet. Nach Abkühlung schaltet das Gerät
automatisch wieder ein.
ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
ACHTUNG: Vor allen Wartungs- und Installations-
arbeiten ist das Gerät allpolig vom Netz zu tren-
nen. Bei ortsfester Montage darf der elektrische
Anschluss nur von einer Elektrofachkraft ausgeführt
werden. Die einschlägigen Sicherheits- und Instal-
lationsvorschriften sind zu beachten. Separate
Absicherungen entsprechend der Stromaufnahme
sind erforderlich. Zwingend vorgeschrieben ist ein all-
poliger Netztrenn-schalter mit mindestens 3 mm
Kontaktöffnung. Netzspannung und Frequenz müs-
sen mit den Angaben des Geräteleistungsschildes
übereinstimmen.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Folgende Kontrollarbeiten sind auszuführen:
– Bestimmungsgemäßen Einsatz des Gerätes über-
prüfen.
– Netzspannung mit Leistungsschildangabe verglei-
chen.
– Alle Teile, insbesondere Schrauben, Muttern, Schutz-
gitter auf festen Sitz überprüfen.
– Freilauf des Laufrades prüfen.
– Stromaufnahme mit Leistungsschildangabe ver-
gleichen.
– Schutzleiteranschluss prüfen.
GERÄUSCHPEGEL
Die in den technischen Daten genannten Geräusch-
werte können im Einsatzfall erheblich abweichen, da
der Schalldruckpegel vom Absorbtionsvermögen des
Raumes, der Einbausituation u.a. Faktoren abhängig ist.
FUNKTIONSSICHERHEIT – NOTBETRIEB
Bei Einsatz des Gerätes in wichtiger versorgungs-
technischer Funktion, ist die Anlage so zu konzipie-
ren, dass bei Ausfall automatisch ein Notbetrieb
garantiert ist. Geeignete Lösungen sind z.B.: Paral-
lelbetrieb von zwei leistungsschwächeren Geräten
mit getrenntem Stromkreis oder Standby-Gerät.
THERMOSTAT
Setting range via knob from 0 °C to + 40 °C. The fan
runs constantly, if the space heater is switched on,
i.e. even if the thermostat has switched off the heater.
Ensuring a permanent heat distribution in the room. If
the fan shall run only with active heating, the motor
cable is to be switched from terminal block 1 to ter-
minal block 2 (see wiring diagram at the bottom side
of the cover).
TIME SETTING VIA DIGITAL TIMER
All models from 9 kW on have a timer for pre-pro-
grammed operation up to 24 hours. (fig.2)

OVERHEATING
The heater is protected against overheating by a
thermal overload cut out. It switches off automatical-
ly, if the temperature within the space heater reaches
a preset high temperature. After cooling down, the
cut out can be manually reset by pressing the red
button. The space heater is then ready for operation.
If the cut out trips again, carry out an investigation to
find the cause for the overheating.
ATTENTION: After swichting off the heating, the
unit should overtravel a few minutes in the fan
mode in order to cooling down the space heater
or rather the body heat.
The S S T T H H 3 3 space heater is protected against over-
heating by an automatic thermal overload cut out.
After cooling down, the space heater restarts auto-
matically.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
ATTENTION: All work only in disconnected state!
Electrical connection may only be carried out by
a qualified person! All relevant safety and installati-
on regulations are to be adhered to. A lockable isola-
tor is required isolate from the mains with a minimum
of 3 mm contact opening of each pole.
Power supply voltage and frequency must corre-
spond to the data given on the motor rating plate.
PUTTING INTO OPERATION
The following checks are to be carried out:
– Check for operation according to the intended pur-
pose of the fan.
– Compare supply voltage with data on the rating
plate.
– Check all parts especially screws, nuts and grille
for tight fit.
– Test unhindered running of the impeller.
– Compare current consumption with data on the ra-
ting plate.
– Check sealing of the connection cable and clam-
ping of the cable wires.
SOUND LEVELS
Actual sound levels can differ considerably from those
stated in the technical data as the sound pressure levels

BRANCHEMENT
Les valeurs électriques sont indiquées sur l'étiquette.
Celles-ci sont à vérifier en fonction de l'alimentation
disponible.
COMMANDE ET RÉGLAGE DU DÉBIT
Chauffage à deux étages pour les types 3, 5, 15 KW,
à trois étages pour les types 9 et 22 KW. Ci-dessous

THERMOSTAT
Plages de réglage de 0 à + 40 °C par bouton.
Le ventilateur fonctionne en permanence – lorsque
l'appareil est allumé – c'est-à-dire également lorsque
le thermostat a coupé le chauffage. Il en résultera ain-
si une répartition homogène de la chaleur dans la
pièce, une fois le chauffage arrêté. Si le ventilateur ne
doit fonctionner que lorsque le chauffage est en
marche, modifier le branchement du câble moteur de
la borne de connexion 1 sur la borne 2 : voir schéma
de branchement se trouvant sur le dessous du cou-
vercle du caisson.
PROGRAMMATION DE LA MINUTERIE
DIGITALE LCD
Tous les types à partir de 9 kW sont équipés de série
d'une minuterie permettant la mise en route automa-
tique de l'appareil jusqu'à 24 heures à l'avance.
–
Affichage LCD 24 h. Réglable de 1 à 24 heures

Touches directionnelles haut/bas pour le réglage
de la minuterie. Dés que la touche est actionnée,
la minuterie démarre automatiquement dans les 5
secondes.

Le témoin clignotant indique le fonctionnement
de la minuterie.
SURCHAUFFE
L'appareil est équipé d'un thermostat de sécurité.
Celui-ci se déclenche lorsqu'une température anor-
malement élevée est atteinte à l'intérieur de l'appa-
reil. Après refroidissement, l'appareil peut être remis
en service par réarmement manuel du thermostat de
sécurité. En cas de déclenchement intempestif, en
rechercher la cause.
IMPORTANT: Après arrêt du chauffage, l'appareil
devrait continuer à fonctionner quelques minutes
avec le ventilateur en marche pour refroidir la bat-
terie électrique et éviter une surchauffe.
Le STH 3 est équipé d'un thermostat de sécurité au-
tomatique. Après refroidissement, l'appareil se remet
automatiquement en marche.
RACCORDEMENT ELECTRIQUE
ATTENTION: Mettre impérativement l'appareil
hors tension avant tous travaux d'entretien et
d'installation.
Lors d'un montage fixe, le branchement électrique
doit être réalisé uniquement par un électricien quali-
fié. Les consignes de sécurité et d'installation doivent
être respectées. Des protections spécifiques cali-
brées en fonction de la puissance de l'appareil sont
nécessaires. Un interrupteur de proximité avec un
contact d'ouverture d'au minimum 3 mm est impéra-
tivement prescrit. La tension du réseau, ainsi que la
fréquence doivent correspondre aux indications de
l'étiquette.
MISE EN SERVICE
Les vérifications suivantes sont à réaliser:
– Vérifier que l'utilisation du ventilateur est conforme
