The mains voltage must correspond to the
information on the machine's type plate.
Avoid body contact to grounded elements, e.g.
pipes, radiators, stoves, and refrigerators, to
prevent an electric shock.
Never carry the device by the cable. Only pull
the cable from the receptacle with the plug.
Protect the cable from oil, heat, and sharp edges.
Damaged cables can cause an electric shock.
Check the device and power cable for damage
before starting work.
When plugging in the power plug, make sure that
the operating switch is not located in position.
Only use approved extension cables when using
the device outside.
When using a cable drum, unwind it entirely in
order to prevent the cable from heating up. The
minimum wire gauge is 1.5 mm
When working outside, the receptacle must be
equipped with a residual current circuit-breaker.
Pull the plug when you are not using the device
or making adjustments.
Always guide the cable away from the back of the
tool.
Never cut, drill, or saw in concealed areas where
there may be electric, gas, or water lines. Use a
suitable detector to find such lines.

Working with the Hammer Drill
Inserting SDS Bits and Chisels
- Pull the power plug.
- Draw back the SDS drill chuck to the end stop.
- Insert the bit or chisel to the end position.
- Release the SDS drill chuck.
- It should only be possible to move the bit or
chisel in the drill chuck by approximately 1 cm
forwards or backwards.
On/off switch
- The hammer drill is started by pressing the on/
off switch.
- Release the on/off switch to switch it off.
Drilling/Hammer Drilling (A2)
- By shifting the lever to position (A) or (B), you
can select the drilling or hammer drilling function.

-Setting Drilling: A+C
-Setting Hammer Drilling: B+C
-Setting Chiselling: B+D
Rotation Stop On/Off
- For drilling, always set the switch to (C)
- For chiselling, always set the switch to (D)
That way, rotation is deactivated.
Dust protection attachment
When drilling overhead, the drilling dust collects
here.
- Put the dust cap on the tool.
- Put the tool into the SDS drill chuck.
Auxiliary Handle
Push the auxiliary handle over the drill chuck and
onto the locating ring and then tighten it by
turning the handle.
