ATTENTION
Read carefully and follow all the information in this user manual before install-
ing and using the pool. These safety warnings, instructions, and guidelines
address some common risks linked to aquatic recreational activities, but they
cannot account for all risks and hazards. Always proceed with caution and com-
mon sense when enjoying water activities. Please retain this information for
future use.
Safety of non-swimmers
- Inexperienced swimmers and non-swimmers must be supervised at all times by a
competent adult (please remember that children under five years of age run the high-
est risk of drowning);
- Designate an adult to supervise the pool each time it is used;
- Inexperienced swimmers or non-swimmers must wear individual swim aids when us-
ing the pool;
- When the pool is not in use or is not supervised, remove all toys from the pool and
the surrounding ground to avoid attracting children to the pool.
Safety devices
- It is recommended to install a barrier (and to secure all doors and windows where
applicable) to prevent unauthorised access to the pool;
- Barriers, pool covers, pool alarms, or similar safety devices are useful aids, but are
no substitute for constant supervision by a competent adult.
Safety equipment
- Keep the rescue equipment (e.g. a lifebuoy) next to the pool;
- Keep a working phone and a list of emergency phone numbers next to the pool.
Ensuring a safe use of the pool
- Encourage all users, especially children, to learn to swim;
- Learn basic first aid techniques (cardiopulmonary resuscitation - CPR) and update
this knowledge regularly. This can make a difference when saving a life in an emer-
gency;
- Instruct all users of the pool, including children, on what to do in an emergency;
- Never dive into a shallow body of water. This can lead to serious injury or death;
- Do not use the pool when drinking alcohol or taking medication that may impair
your ability to use the pool safely;
