You can choose whether to leave the remote
control housed on the top panel of the appliance,
Fig. 1, or use it at distances of up to approx. 8
metres, Fig. 2.
If you have been using the remote control
housed on the appliance and wish to remove it,
press down on the right-hand side of the control
marked with three dots (next to the "Siemens"
logo).
The symbols appear on the digital display screen
in the most suitable position for the option in use
at the time, Figs. 3 & 4.
When the remote control is being used at a
distance, the appliance beeps to confirm that the
remote control signal has been received properly.
The relevant symbol appears on the display
screen at the same time,
The digital display screen is fitted with an
illumination system which allows the selected
options to be seen even in conditions of reduced
visibility. When you are using the remote control
housed on the appliance, then this light will stay
on for a period of one minute as of the last
button pressed. When the remote control is
being used at a distance, then this time is
reduced to three seconds in order to save the
batteries.
