Unscrew the black cap and insert an "AA" battery into the igniter with the positive
end facing outwards. Screw the cap back into its correct place on the battery
compartment.

Slot the heat plates into the recesses, making sure that the triangular ridges are
pointing upwards. The heat late with the longest sides must be placed on the right
side of the infrared burner. Place the grill grates and griddle on the shelves of the
barbecue.
Install the warming rack (see the illustration below).
