Step 3:
Installation of saddle (7) and saddle support (6).
1. Place the saddle (7) with the seat surface downwards.
2. Place the retaining plate of the saddle support (6) on the upwards
pointing bottom of the saddle (7). The threaded pieces on the
bottom of the saddle must project through the corresponding
holes in the retaining plate of the saddle support (6).
3. Place washers (33) on the threaded pieces, screw on nuts (34)
and tighten firmly.
4. Insert the saddle support (6) into the provided holder of the main
frame (1) and secure at the desired position by screwing in the
saddle support screw (31).
(Note: To screw in the saddle support screw (31), the threaded
hole in the main frame (1) and one of the holes in the saddle
support (6) must be aligned. Furthermore, ensure that the saddle
support (6) is not pulled out of the main frame beyond the marked
maximum adjustment position. The setting of the saddle support
can be adjust as desired later.)
Step 4:
Installation of handlebar support (4) at main frame (1).
1. Place screws (19), spring washer (25) and washers (35) accessibly
beside the front part of the main frame (1).
2. Place the lower end of the support (4) against the main frame (1)
and plug the ends of the two computer cables (17+18) projecting
from (1) and (4) together.
(Note: The computer cable harness (18) projecting from the
support (4) must not slide into the tube, as it is required for later
steps of installation. When joining the tubes, ensure that the
cable connection will not trapped.)
3. Connect the cable of tension control (20) to the bracket of lower
section cable tension (16) (See figure A1-4). Before this step of
the installation, it is advisable to adjust the resistance setting
to the highest stage, at which the cable extends furthest from
the sheath. Put the lowest part of cable (20) into the small hook
(figure A1) of tension cable (16). Pull it (figure A2) until the small
hook get in higher position and then insert the outer cable (20)
onto the bracket (16) (figure A3+A4).
4. Push the handlebar support (4) onto the main frame (1) and put
one spring washer (25) and one washer (35) on each screw (19).
Push the screws (19) through the holes in the support (4), screw
into the threaded holes of the main frame (1) and tighten firmly.
