General use
Opening and closing of the fire door
Pull the door handle towards you to open the door and push it away from you to close it. The exterior of
the stove can become very hot. We recommend using the heat resistant gloves or the operating handle.
Saey stoves can only be used when the fire door is closed. Once in operation ,the fire door may only be
opened briefly to charge wood.
Ash door
The ash door must remain closed during operation. Otherwise air will enter the combustion chamber
through the ash door in an uncontrollable manner. The ash door may only be opened for the removal of
ashes. Pay attention to the heat and use the heat resistant gloves.
Controlling combustion air
Combustion air is controlled at the back of the stove, by preference with the help of the operating handle.
By placing the air regulation in the extreme right position, the air supply will be fully closed. If the air
regulation is positioned in the middle, then air supply is set to its half capacity. The air supply is set to its
maximum capacity when the air regulation is in the extreme left position.
