8. MANUAL OPERATION

8.1 Connecting the appliance

Set the ON/OFF switch located on the rear of the control panel to ON (with the
red part showing).Once the appliance is ON, the display shows the ambient tem-
perature. The blobs and pilots shown on the display may differ.
8.2 Function select
If the ON indicator on the display is not lit up, the appliance is in

temperature in subdued light, and a blob lights up in the lower right corner of the
display to indicate the appliance is ON. If the temperature setting is higher than
the ambient temperature, the appliance will start heating up.

higher than the ambient temperature.

8.3 Temperature select

8.4 Anti-freeze function

Press the "minus" key until the lower threshold value is reached. The display
shows AF (anti-freeze) as shown below:
