• In the case of infectious illnesses, the device must be disinfected
every day or all attachments must be sterilised (it is recom-
mended that this measure is performed regularly either in the
morning or the evening at a fixed time). You can also use
alcohol or other common alcohol-based disinfectant sprays.
Make sure that no disinfectant residues are left behind on the
attachments to ensure safe inhalation when next used.
• Allow all parts to dry separately and uncovered on a cloth. Do
not push the extension parts together whilst they are still wet.
• Clean the active ingredient tank and the nebulizer unit after
each use. Put 8 ml of ethyl alcohol in the active ingredient tank.
When doing this, do not remove the nebulizer unit from the
medicine tank. Close the active ingredient tank. Leave the
alcohol in the tank for at least 10 minutes. For more effective
disinfection, gently shake the unit from time to time. After this
treatment, tip the ethyl alcohol out of the tank.
• Repeat the procedure, this time using water.
• Now disconnect the nebulizer unit from the active ingredient
tank. To do this, turn the nebulizer unit anticlockwise and pull it
off the tank attachment. Finally, clean both parts again in fresh
water.
• After using the device for salt solution inhalation, salt crystals
may form as a residue on the fine gauze of the atomiser, which
may damage the gauze. In order to avoid this, we recommend
you to operate the device with clean water immediately after
use (roughly 1 min), thus rinsing out the salt solution.
• Always make sure the nebulizer unit and active ingredient tank
are properly dried out.
• If there is medicine solution or dirt on the gold contacts
between the device and the nebulizer unit, clean them with a
cotton bud soaked in ethyl alcohol.
