In general bad quality fuel for this stove can be recognized by:
• Other diameter than required 6 mm. and/or a variety of diameters
• Different variable lengths, higher percentage of short length pellets
• The surface shown vertical an/or horizontal cracks
• High dust content
• Surface not shining
• Bad quality pellets will not sink when thrown in water.
Using bad quality fuel will lead to possible:
• Bad combustion
• Frequent blockage of the burning pot
• Increased consumption of pellets
• Lower heat output and lower efficiency
• Dirtiness of the glass
• Increase of ash quantity and unburned granules.
• Higher maintenance cost
The use of low quality pellets can damage your stove. Damages caused by low
quality pellets are not covered by the warranty.
Contact the Zibro dealer or the authorized Zibro installer for more information on
pellets.

Even when using good quality standardised pellets it is normal that
difference arise in combustion rates, ash production and build up of slack.

Store and transport the pellets in absolutely dry conditions. Wood pellets
can expand significantly when coming into contact with moisture.

For optimal safety the stove is equipped with a wide array of safety devices. Should
this chapter not provide the solution than carefully check chapter H "troubleshout-
ing".
e.1 PRessURe sWITch ALARM
The negative pressure in the fire box is measured and checked. If negative pressure
is outside boundaries the display will show: "AlAr dEp" and the stove will auto-
matically stop supply of pellets to the burning pot and start the switch off phase.
Actions to be taken:
1. Switch off the stove using P4 (on/off)
2. V erify the possible cause for the "AlAr dEp" in chapter H "troubleshooting".
3. R ectify the cause of the error, if possible following the advices in chapter H
"troubleshooting", or alternatively call in a Zibro authorized engineer.
