Using your VeinWalker

If the medical grounds warrant it, please consult your doctor.
When you use your VeinWalker
pro, we recommend that each session should

last
to
minutes – depending on how you feel. If you have an unpleasant feel-

ing during the session, reduce the pressure or break off treatment.
After each session is over, fi rst of all turn the left switch in an upward direction
. The air will now be sucked out of the cuffs. After approximately one minute
you can open the zip and take off the cuffs. Let the pump continue to run until the
air is completely pumped out of the cuffs. This means you do not have to go to
all the trouble of pressing the air out yourself. Once the cuffs have been pumped
empty, turn your VeinWalker
pro off O. Now you can remove the hoses from
©
the control unit.
If necessary, clean the cuffs and then carefully fold them up. Try to avoid bend-
ing the cuffs too sharply – this could ultimately cause the cuffs to split after being
used for some time.

Cleaning and looking after your VeinWalker

Before cleaning your VeinWalker
pro, you should always disconnect the hoses
©
from the control unit and the cuffs. Should you sweat a little under the cuffs, you
can clean them with a dry (or slightly moistened) cloth and some cleanser. When
the cuffs are applied directly on the skin, you should disinfect them with a com-
monly available disinfectant so as to avoid cross-contamination if they are to be
used by several different individuals. But never use astringent cleansers. In particu-
lar be sure that no moisture fi nds its way into the openings for letting air in and
out. You should make a point of plugging the openings with the stoppers when
you clean the cuffs.
After your VeinWalker
pro has been in use for a long time, the ends of the hoses
©
could begin to widen out with the result that they are no longer airtight. In such a
case you can cut a short piece off the ends.
Fold up the cuffs only loosely. If the cuffs are bent too forcefully, they could split.
We recommend cleaning the control unit only when it is necessary. Clean the
control unit in the same way as you clean the cuffs. The cuffs can be cleaned after
each session or at regular intervals.
Always remember to pull the plug out before you clean your VeinWalker
pro!
