Preparation instructions

Milk froth:
∙ We recommend using milk with a high protein content.
For best results, the milk should be taken from the
refrigerator immediately before frothing.
∙ To achieve a thicker froth, go through a cold-frothing
cycle first, followed by a hot-frothing cycle.
Hot chocolate / cocoa:
∙ To prepare drinking chocolate from milk and chocolate
or cocoa.
∙ Grate the chocolate finely before preparation.
∙ Alternatively, break down the chocolate to pieces of 5 x
4 cm minimum (but not any smaller). Caution: Do not fill
in melted chocolate!
∙ Fill in the chocolate / cocoa only after the programme
has started, when the milk is already being stirred.
Otherwise, the stirring tool could jam.
∙ We recommend using the following amounts of
chocolate:
200 ml milk è approx. 15-20 g
350 ml milk è approx. 30-35 g
Interrupting a cycle
∙ The heating or stirring process may be stopped by
pressing

Automatic switch-off

∙ The appliance switches off automatically two minutes
after non-use.
Cleaning and care
button
∙ Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected
from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the base
or the power cord with water and do not immerse them.
∙ The base can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and
some detergent.
∙ The milk container, stirring tools and lid should be
cleaned after each cycle of use with hot water and a
little detergent, or in the dishwasher. If necessary, the
serrated stirring tool may be taken off and cleaned with
a suitable brush.
∙ Wipe all parts thoroughly dry.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
