Assembly instruction
A.
Open the ETA snatch block : remove pin (1), unscrew axle (2), swing flange (3).
B.
Grease the threaded rod of shackle or hook suspension.
C.
Install the shackle/ hook suspension (Rep.1) on axle of the ETA snatch block and screw the
threaded rod on the nut (Rep.2).
D.
Screw until the hole for the blocking pin is free (Rep.3). Don't follow screwing after that position
and ensure the swivel hook/ shackle can freely turn around its axle (otherwise slightly unscrew).
E.
Control the shackle/ hook suspension can freely turn around the pulley axle.
If end of the threaded rod of the shackle/ hook suspension blocks it : unscrew the nut (hole of
the pin must keep free access) or disassemble all components – smoothly grind end of the
threaded rod of shackle/ hook suspension – start again assembly of the snatch block from
above point "C".
F.
Ensure end of the threaded rod is correctly fit into groove of the pulley axle: suspension must be
non-loosing when snatch block is open. If this is not OK: screw again the threaded rod (and
control point E again)
G.
Only when above these important controls are made, install the blocking pin (Rep.3) on its hole.
H.
Close the snatch block and attach the instruction for use and declaration of incorporation.
I.
Write on a register : date, snatch block ref., its serial N°, ref of the installed kit.
