8.3. Remove Protect safety cap
The air regulator is supplied ex works with the Protect safety cap [5-2]
fitted to the left adapter   p late [5-4] of the belt.
Changing to the right adapter plate
■ Press the release lever [5-1] in.
■ Pull off the protection cap upwards.
■ Slide in the protection cap on the right adapter plate.
■ The safety nose [5-3] engages in the release lever.

9. Normal Operation

9.1. Attach air regulator to the carrying strap
■ Push the air regulator [6-2] onto the left or right adapter plate [6-4] of
the fitted belt until the safety nose [6-1] engages in the release lever
[6-3].
■ Tilt the air regulator out of the basic position [7-1] forwards [7-2] or
backwards [7-3] as required. Tilt settings every 22.5° and 45°.
Notice!
Only use heat-resistant, antistatic, undamaged, technically perfect SATA
safety compressed air hoses with permanent pressure resistance of
at least 10 bar, e.g. No. 49080 (6 m), 176792 (10 m), 180851 (40 m).
These hoses may not be combined or lengthened.
9.2. Making the air regulator ready to use
Notice!
Only use heat-resistant, antistatic, undamaged, technically perfect SATA
safety compressed air hoses with permanent pressure resistance of
at least 10 bar, e.g. No. 49080 (6 m), 176792 (10 m), 180851 (40 m).
These hoses may not be combined or lengthened.
■ Connect the compressed air tube with the compressed air supply con-
nection [2-5].
■ Take the breathing air hose from the breathing protection hood [1-2]
through the belt loop and insert at the breathing protection hood con-
nection [2-6] .
■ If necessary, insert the compressed air hose at the spray gun connec-
tion [2-3].
