HDMI™ switch box

Connect the source devices (e.g. a DVD Player) carefully to the
inputs (1) of the switch box.

Connect the output device (e.g. a HDTV) to the output (2) of the
switch box.
The included USB/DC cable is used to power the HDMI™ switch box.

Connect the USB/DC cable to the DC input of the HDMI™ switch
box and the USB interface of your TV set - or use the cable with a
commercially available USB power supply.
4.2 Operating
a) Intelligent switching function:
Once the source device is turned on or plugged in, the switches
will automatically select this source.
Once the source device is turned off or plugged out, the switches
will automatically select the next power-on source depending on
the sequence automatically:

b) Manual selection via signal selection button:

Choose one of the source devices by manual selecting via
signal selection button (4) on the HDMII™ switch box.
c) Manual selection via remote control:
1.
Remove the plastic strip from the battery compartment of the
remote control before using it for the first time.
2.
Connect the IR receiver to the IR input (6) of the switch box..
3.
Select one of the source devices using the remote control (7).
If you have selected a channel, the corresponding LED lights up.
Model 58981:
Forward/backward push button:
With this model you have the possibility to go forward or backward when
selecting the source device by pressing the forward/backward push
buttons (9).

Activating/deactivating the HDMI™ switch box:
Press the on/off button (9) on the remote control briefly once at a time.

Remote control - Replace battery
If necessary, replace the empty battery with a new one of the same type.
See Chapter 2.4, „Specifications".

Grasp the battrie compartment with your thumb and index finger.
2.)
Press the locking tab (2) flush against the battery compartment
with your thumb.
3.)
Grasp the recessed grip (1) with the nail of the index finger.
4.)
Pull the battery compartment out of the remote control.
5.)
Remove the empty battery.
6.)
Dispose the empty battery
Please also read chapter 8 „Disposal Notes".
7.)
Insert a new battery with the plus pole facing up into the battery
compartmen.
8.)
Push the battery compartment back towards the stop.
The locking tab must engage.

The products are maintenance-free.
NOTICE! Material damage
Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.
Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
Store cool and dry.
Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-
protected ambience when not in use.
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries when not in use.
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal Notes
8.1
Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic
equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components
must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise conta-
minative and hazardous substances can pollute our environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and elec-
tronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at
the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in natio-
nal right. The symbol on the product, in the user`s manual, or at the
packaging alludes to these terms. With this kind of waste separation,
application, and waste disposal of used devices you achieve an impor-
tant share to environmental protection.

8.2
Battery
(Rechargeable) batteries must not be disposed of with household
waste. Their components have to be supplied separately to the
recycling or disposal, because toxic and dangerous ingredients
can harm the environment if not disposed of sustainably.
As a consumer, you are obliged to return them at the end of their ser-
vice lives to the manufacturer, the sales outlet or established for this
purpose, public collection points for free. Details regulates the respec-
tive country's law. The symbol on the product, the instruction manual
and / or the packaging draws attention to those provisions. With this
kind of material separation, recovery and disposal of waste (recharge-
able) batteries you make an important contribution to protecting our
environment.

Packaging
Packaging can be disposed of free of charge at the suitable collection
points – paper belongs in paper bins, plastics belong in yellow sacks and
