8.2. Insertion des contacts
S'assurer que le verrou secondaire est en
position pré-verrouillée avant d'insérer les
contacts (volet intégré avec charnière pour le
porte-clips et le porte-languettes 4 voies ;
verrou secondaire couleur naturel pour les
porte-clips et porte-languettes 8 voies et plus).
Si ce n'est pas le cas ouvrir le verrou suivant
recommandation du paragraphe 9-1.
Pendant l'opération d'insertion des contacts,
tenir le connecteur par les surfaces latérales et
ne
pas
exercer
d'effort
secondaire :
Si le boîtier a subi une chute, il peut être
endommagé. Ne pas utiliser le produit.
S'assurer
qu'il
n'y
d'association : assembler des contacts clips
dans
des
porte-clips
languettes dans des porte-languettes.
Le contact TH est polarisé, il faut donc
l'orienter correctement avant de l'insérer dans
le boîtier (fig. 11 à fig. 14).
Il se verrouille grâce à sa lance en produisant
un "clic" tactile et audible. Enfin, le verrouillage
doit être vérifié en tirant légèrement (20N max)
sur le fil. Vérifier que le contact ne ressort pas
de la cavité (fig. 9 à fig. 12).

If receptacle or tab part falls down before use,
it may be damaged. Do not use the product.

Confirm that secondary lock is in preset
position (integrated retainer with hinge for
4 way receptacle and tab parts; uncolored
additional part for 8 and more ways, tab and
receptacle parts). If secondary lock is not in
preset position, it must be reworked using 9-
1 paragraph instruction.
During the terminal insertion, hold the
connector by the lateral sides, and do not
apply any force on the secondary lock:
Confirm the type of contact and housing:
insert receptacle contacts in receptacle
housings and tab contacts in tab housings.
TH contact is polarized. It must be inserted
with good orientation regarding the housing
(See fig. 11 to 14).
TH contact locks in the cavity with a 'Clic'
tactile and audible sensation. Correct locking
of the contact must be checked by pulling the
contact lightly (20N max). Make sure the
contact can't be withdrawn (See fig. 9 to 12).
