Energy and environment tips

Here you can find tips on how to save energy when baking and
roasting and how to dispose of your appliance properly.

Saving energy

Only preheat the oven if this is specified in the recipe or in
the tables in the instruction manual.
Use dark, black lacquered or enamelled baking tins, because
they absorb heat particularly well.
Open the oven door as infrequently as possible while the
food is baking and roasting.
If you intend to bake several cakes, preferably bake them one
after the other. The oven is still hot. Because the oven is still
hot from the previous cake, the baking time for the next cake
is reduced. You can also place two fruit loaf tins next to each
other in the oven.
For longer cooking times, you can switch the oven to the
minimum temperature 10 minutes before the end of the
cooking time. At the end of the cooking time, take out the
cooked food and switch off the function selector and
temperature selector. The appliance is now switched off.
Note:
To prevent moisture from forming on the control panel, do not
leave the cooked food in the appliance.

Replace the bulb with one of the same type.
3.
Screw the glass cover back in.
4.
Remove the tea towel and switch on the circuit breaker.
5.

Glass cover

You must replace a damaged glass cover. Suitable glass
covers may be obtained from the after-sales service. Please
specify the E number and FD number of your appliance.
