EN | Rain Tent Babboe Curve - Manual for mounting
Congratulations on your new rain tent for your Babboe Curve cargo bike!
Below you will find the instruction manual for the rain tent.
To dismount the tent, follow the steps in the reverse order.
Step 1
Attaching the side bars to the box
Use the provided sidebars to attach the tent properly.
Unscrew the central nuts and bolts at the sides of the
box. Attach the sidebars with these nuts and bolts,
leaving the shims out. You can remove the bench from
the slot to make it easier to remove the nuts and bolts.
Step 2
Mounting the poles to the box
Mounting the poles to the carrier is simple, however, it should happen in the following
order:
1.
First, assemble the poles for the side of the handlebar (with the green sticker BACK)
and then insert them into the slots on the side of
the handlebar up to wider section of the poles
2.
Then, assemble the both parts of the central bar
and then insert them into the inserted poles
3.
Assemble the poles for the front side (with the red
sticker FRONT) and insert them into the central part
4.
Place the front poles into the slots on the front side
up to wider section of the poles. This creates the
necessary tension on the poles, ensuring a secure
structure
Step 3
Attaching the canvas
The order of assembly is essential for an optimum fit:
1.
Unfold the tent canvas and unzip all zips
2.
Place the canvas over the poles. The side with an opening for ventilation is placed at
the side of the handlebar.
3.
First pull the back over the frame. Make sure the frame fits perfectly in the corner of
the tent and the top corners of the frame fit in the curve of the tent
world
"The
kids
and your
right in front of you"
4.
Ensure that the rain tent lays straight on the frame and pull the front over the box
5.
Feed the tie down straps through the sidebars and tighten
slightly
6.
Check again to ensure the rain tent is placed straight on the
frame. The easiest way to do this is by looking in the tent
through the front and to check that the handlebar is right in
the middle. Moreover, the seam in the middle of the top of
the rain tent needs to run perpendicular to the handlebar
7.
Is the tent in place? Then tighten all tie down straps (this
can be quite tight), so the tent is secure
8.
Now you can close the zips by pulling them slightly towards
you and then down. Never pull the zip straight down!

IMPORTANT:

1.
The tent will be quite tight after the first assembly. After a while the seams will be
under tension and the rain tent will become roomier.
2.
In the beginning, it is advisable to pull the left and right zips down simultaneously,
until the rain tent is under tension. Once the tent is under tension, the zips will close
and open more easily.
Opening the windows
Step 4
Would you like to cycle with open windows? Fold the windows carefully and attach to the
hook on the top of the rain tent using the elastic band.
TIP:
A sunroof is also available for use in combination with the poles of the rain tent.
