HAM1011 – MINI PIR SENSOR WITH ALARM
1. Introduction
Thank you for buying the HAM1011! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. Make
sure that the device was not damaged in transit. If the device is damaged, you should contact your dealer.
2. Features
• high-sensitivity detector with integrated circuitry and SMT technology.
• easy to install (indoor use only)
• wide detection range
• uses infrared rays to detect human movement
• two operation modes: chime (short signal) and alarm (continuous signal)
3. Installation and Usage
1) Gently take the sensor body out of the support, or rotate it so the body is square to the support.
2) Open the battery lid by sliding it upwards, connect a 9V battery to the connector and close the battery lid.
3) Set the switch at the side of the sensor body to the desired operation status:
! OFF: the sensor is not operational.
! CHIME: if the detector detects movement during over 10 seconds, it will produce a short chime sound.
! ALARM: if the detector detects movement during over 10 seconds, it will sound an alarm.
4) Fix the device with screws or double-sided tape, or use it standing alone on a stable and level surface.
5) When the battery is getting weaker, detection might take longer and the sounds will not be as distinct. Replace it
immediately when you are aware this is the case.
4. Beware
• Don't hit the sensor or detection window with a hard or rough object.
• Don't install the sensor in direct sunlight, near heating or ventilation devices, or a high humidity environment.
• If you don't intend to use the device for a long time, take out the battery.
• The HAM1011 is not a formal alarm and has limited loudness ; it may warn you someone is approaching, but it
cannot guarantee absolute safety. We will not accept responsibility for any unexpected event.
