less of the system operating hours.
12. The collector-dryer must be repla-
ced at least once a year. Work on the
refrigerating circuit always requires
the replacement of the collector-
dryer.
13. In order to prevent the shaft seals
of the compressor from drying out
and to avoid the seizure by gumming,
of moving components installed in the
refrigerating circuit the air condi-
tioning system when not in use, must
be operated once a month for at least
15 minutes. Requirement: minimum
outside temperature > 5 °C, e.g.
heated garage.

14. It must always be ensured that the
quantity of refrigerating oil in the
system is at the level specified in the
installation and servicing instructions
manual.
15. Cleaning of slightly contaminated
condenser and evaporator fins is per-
formed with pressurised air blown
against the normal direction of air
flow. Heavy contamination or greasy
film must first be removed with soapy
water or a suitable cleaning solvent
(non-aggressive for copper
or aluminium) and subsequently
cleaned with pressurised air or water
jet.
Caution: excessive water jet or air
pressure might cause damage.
16. When exposing the air condi-
tioning system to direct water jet
during vehicle cleaning or when
running the vehicle through a car
wash, be aware of the overall height
of the vehicle including the roof top air
conditioning system.
17. Non-compliance with the
installation and servicing instructions
manual and the information contained
therein will void the Spheros war-
ranty. The same applies to unskilled
repairs or repairs not using original
spare parts.
