Reset of Master Card

If the MASTER card is lost or needs to be replaced, the following steps must be taken
(we recommend you entrust this task to specialised personnel)..
1. Disconnect power supply.
2. Push door open button from the inside (if installed) or make a momentary short
circuit between terminals "B" and "-" (Grey and Red) of the reader controller.
Reconnect power supply.
3. The reader will go into "MASTER card change mode". All the reader's indicators will
start to blink for 5 seconds. The card shown to the reader during this time will be
taken as the new MASTER card.
The card shown must not be already activated as a personal card.
If the card shown is the one ALREADY used as MASTER, the reader will lose all the
information stored (users cards, parameters,...). See "Reset of Parameters".
NOTE:
The reader returns to normal mode, from any other programming setting, if no card has
been shown within a 30 second period.

Reset of Parameters

It is possible you want to recover the reader's original configuration; to make it easier, a
Parameters Reset function has been added, wich returns the device to the factory settings
and deactivates it.
To Reset the reader, proceed as explained on "MASTER Card Reset" but instead a new
card use the current MASRER Card.
Once done the Reset all users are erased, parameters return to default configuration.
NOTE:
The Reset is a not reversible operation, then once it is done you will lose all information
and you will not recover it.
