rotation and press the mounted part of the bead
downwards directly behind the mounting/
demounting tool so that the bead is forced
into the drop base of the rim and bead tension
remains low (Fig. 27, arrow).
• Proceed with mounting until the tyre bead is
ounted completely.
• For subsequent tyre infl ation, loosen wheel
clamping.
If the turntable speed slows excessively during
assembly by abnormal bead friction, stop the
procedure, turn the turntable back slightly, press
the part of the bead already mounted down into the
rim, if necessary using a bead pusher, then continue
mounting. With easily mountable tyres and/or a skilled
operator, mounting is possible without interruptions.
One or two optionally available bead pushers (1, Fig.
27 and 14, Fig. 1) or the MH PRO pneumatic mounting
tool (2, Fig. 27 and 15, Fig. 1) can be used to hold the
tyre still during mounting.
