Warning
• The hard drive may not be moved after
connecting the power supply unit to the socket.
This could result in damage to the hard drive
and data loss.
• The hard drive adapter may not be unplugged
from the PC during data transfer under any
circumstance. Data may be lost.
• Under no circumstance does Hama GmbH & Co
KG accept liability for loss of data stored on data
storage media.
• The operating system of your PC / notebook will
initialise the hard drive after connecting. This process
may take a minute.
• If the hard drive is already partitioned and data is on
the hard drive, you can then access that data.
• New or unpartitioned hard drives must be partitioned
and formated after initialisation. Refer to the
operating system manual for your computer/notebook
for the necessary steps to do so.
