Operation of electronic clutch and encoder connection
PS-300-24
PS-400-24
INT-24
SN-50-24
PS-200
This device is extremely important for reasons of safety. Its calibration remains unchanged over
time and is not subject to wear as are the usual mechanical clutches.
A.
It is active both during opening and closing. When it intervenes it reverses the direction without
disabling automatic closure if it was activated.
B.
If it intervenes two consecutive times, it will be placed automatically in the STOP position. This will
disable automatic closing if it has been activated. If it intervenes twice consecutively, it means that
there is a permanent obstacle and any movement could be dangerous. The user must now give the
open or close command.
C.
If it intervenes three consecutive times, the control unit performs an emergency procedure in which
it will perform a complete opening until it reaches the stop, and then it will close again automatically
if automatic closing is activated. In this way, if contact was lost with the stops, re-synchronization
would take place automatically.
POSITIVE power supply of the encoder is connected to Term. N.20 ENC+
NEGATIVE power supply of the encoder is connected to Term. N.20 ENC -
The signal of the encoder for motor M1 on Term. N. 21 ENC1
The signal of the encoder for motor M2 on Term. N. 22 ENC2
Operation Open/Pedestrian PED:
Connected between Term. N.14 and Term. N.19 Contact N.O. Normally open
This is an opening command. If you have selected 2-motor operation, it will completely open only Motor
M1. If you have selected 1-motor operation, it will perform a partial 40% opening of the assigned travel
-
Step/step operation:
Connected between Term. N.15 and Term. N.19 Contact N.O. Normally open
This is an opening command which can operate in two different ways:
Dip 1 = ON
An Open impulse, during movement does not accept any command, accepts re-
opening during closing
Dip 3 = OFF
An Open impulse, a Stop impulse, a Close impulse

Photocell Close Function F1 :
Connected between Term. N.16 and Term. N.19 Contact N.C.Normally Closed
This input is considered a safety, the contact can be interrupted at any time during closing of the
automation causing an immediate stop in movement and reversing the direction of movement
-
Photocell Open Function F2 :
Connected between Term. N.17 and Term. 19 Contact N.C. Normally closed
This input is considered a safety, the contact can be interrupted at any time during opening by the automation
causing an immediate stop in movement, the automation will continue until the contact is restored.
-
Stop function STP :
Connected to Term. N.18 and Term. N.19 Contact Normally Open N.C. This input is considered a safety
the contact can be interrupted at any time immediately stopping the automation disabling any function
including automatic closing.
