Before Initial Use

Before initial use you should:
• check the items supplied to make sure they are complete
• charge up the cordless screwdriver

Checking the Items Supplied

CAUTION!
❐ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
Unpack all parts carefully and check the items supplied for completeness (see the
"Items Supplied and Device Overview") and transport damage. If you fi nd any damage
to the components, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service department.

Charging Up the Cordless Screwdriver

CAUTION!
❐ The device may not be used during the charging operation!
❐ Only ever charge up the battery of the device using the charger which is supplied
with the device!

1. Insert the connector plug of the charger into the connecting socket
on the handle of the device.
2. Connect the charger to an easily accessible and properly installed
mains socket.
3. Allow the device to charge up completely. The charging process
takes approx. 4 hours. When the green lamp on the battery charge
indicator is lit up, the battery of the device has been completely
charged up.
4. When the green lamp is lit, pull the plug out of the socket and remove
the connector plug from the connecting socket on the device.
