DEVICE INSTALLATION

The device must be installed by your trusted
installer.
The product is designed to be powered according
to national system regulations.
The call sender device can be used to send an
audio-video or an audio-only call to an Android or
iOS smartphone.
An Internet connection is used through an ADSL or
3G/4G router/modem via Cat5 cable or Wi-Fi.
The device was designed for use in
residential and commercial environments
and can be used to confi gure only
some network parameters. If may
consequently not work on specifi c
business IP networks.
The Urmet CallMe App must be installed on a
smartphone, connected to the Internet via its own
mobile data connection or Wi-Fi, to receive calls.
Functions of the Urmet CallMe App include:
1. Intercom calls to other smartphones connected
to the same account;
2. Auto-on function ("Camera" function on the
CallMe app) to see the image taken from
the door unit (main and secondary) or from
connected surveillance cameras on your
smartphone.
3. Missed call list function.
The Urmet CallMe App is also indispensable for
confi guring device parameters.
The call sender device only works in
addition to the apartment station(s) in
the apartment and is always confi gured
as apartment station with ID/code 3.
The call sender device can be installed in one of the
following ways:

1. Insert the spacer behind the device in its special
seat, ensuring that it is locked by the lever A.
2. Insert the retainers B of the spacer in the DIN
rail in such a way that the terminal strips of the
device are pointing downwards, then insert the
retainers C.
3. Remove the terminal strip cover.

4. Connect the assembly to the system.
The end of a stranded conductor must
not be consolidated with mild soldering
in the points in which the conductor is
subject to contact pressure.
5. Carry out the device confi guration by means of
jumpers and/or dip-switches.
6. Replace the terminal strip cover.
7. Power on the device.
8. Complete your parameter confi guration by
using the Urmet CallMe App.
