The declared vibration total value has been measured in
accordance with a standard test method and may be used
for comparing one tool with another.
It may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING
○ The vibration emission during actual use of the power
tool can diff er from the declared total value depending in
the ways in which the tool is used.
○ Identify safety measures to protect the operator that
are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual
conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the
operating cycle such as the times when the tool is
switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the
trigger time).
TROUBLESHOOTING
Use the inspections in the table below if the tool does not operate normally. If this does not remedy the problem, consult your
dealer or the HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
1. Power tool

No battery remaining.
Battery is not properly installed.

Overload protection circuit activated.
Heat protection circuit activated due to
overheating of the battery or the tool itself.
Insuffi cient pressure on the switch lock.
Switch is pulled in a small amount.
Cutter is worn/degraded/damaged
Working tool outside of its normal capacity
(material, material diameter, processing
quantity).
Grip rubber is worn.
Working tool outside of its normal capacity
(material, material diameter, processing
quantity).
Attempting to install battery other than type
specifi ed.
NOTE
Due to HiKOKI's continuing program of research and
development, the specifi cations herein are subject to
change without prior notice.
Charge the battery.
Push battery in until a click is heard.
Press the Manual Mode switch to cancel
reverse-rotation.
Remove cause of overload.
Allow battery and tool to fully cool down.
Press switch lock in until it comes to the
end.
Not a problem.
Pull harder on the switch and the sound will
stop.
Replace with a new cutter.
Review "SPECIFICATIONS" to cut properly.
Replace with new grip rubber.
Contact a HiKOKI Authorized Service
Center.
Review "SPECIFICATIONS" to bend
properly.
Use Multi Volt type battery.
