9. Operation

Never install the product by suspending it unsupported from its discharge hose or power cable. Isolate the
electrical parts of the product from water.
To guarantee that the pump works properly, the bottom of the shaft must be kept free of sludge and dirt of
all kinds.
If sludge builds up, the dirt filter will be blocked and stop the product from conveying water. It is necessary,
therefore, to check the product regularly and clean the dirt filter after each use and before storage.
The connecting hose used should be able to withstand the maximum discharge rate of the pump.
a) Switching On/Off
• Push the On/Off switch (2) to the "I" position to switch on (Fig. 11).
• Push the On/Off switch to the "O" position to switch off (Fig. 11).
b) Assembling the discharge hose tools
• Connect the garden hose coupling (8) and the stop cock (7) to the
clutch (6) of the discharge hose (Fig. 12).
• Suspend the pump unit with the collection pipe into the container.
• Insert the locking device (15) at the back of the control unit.
• Fix the locking device to the container using an Allen wrench
(not included in the delivery).
