You have acquired a high-quality Riester multi-
function infrared thermometer manufactured in
compliance with Directive 93/42/ EEC for medical
products and subject to continuous stringent qua-
lity control, ensuring reliable results for years to
come.

Please read these Instructions carefully prior to
start-up and keep them in a safe place. Should you
have any queries, we will be pleased to assist you
at any time. You will find our address on the last
page of these Instructions. We will be pleased to
supply you with the address of your authorized RIE-
STER distributor on request.
Please note that correct and safe operation of this
thermometer will be guaranteed only when
RIESTER accessories are used throughout.
Please note the following prior to using the
thermometer:
1. Ensure that the measuring probe (1) is shielded
by a disposable probe cover (2) (even when the
thermometer is not being used).
2. Keep the multi-function thermometer out of
reach of children.
3. Keep the multi-function thermometer away from
sources of intense heat, otherwise it could be
damaged. (Do not hold the thermometer in a
flame).
4. The multi-function thermometer must not be
exposed to the sun for any length of time, as this
will result in inaccurate temperature readings.
