Changing the mains fuse

Refer to Figure 6-8.
• Switch off the unit.
• Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
• Disconnect the power cable from the machine
socket (1).
• Pull out the fuse holder (2).
• Replace the damaged fuse with another fuse having
an identical rating (3).
• Return the unit to its original functioning status, by
following the steps above in reverse order.
6.5 Cleaning the lifter
Figure 6-9.
To clean the wheel lifter, do not use liquids.
DO NOT SPILL LIQUID ON THE LIFTER.
• Clean the lifter with a dry cloth and compressed air.
• Check for too much play in the connecting parts.
DO NOT LUBRICATE THE HORIZONTAL
SLIDE RAILS (1, Fig. 6-9).
• Wipe with a cloth and lubricate the trapezoidal
thread screw. Use only specific grease; RENOLIT
GHT2 (P/N: 8-03329A).
• Lubricate the joints with a small quantity of grease
for mechanical applications. We recommend using
spray grease; not oil.
• If a fault occurs, stop using the equipment and call
the Snap-on technical support team.
