Know Your Fruit and
Vegetable Strainer
1) Paddle
2) Screens
(fine or coarse)
3) Bowls
Assembling Your Fruit and Vegetable Strainer
1) Raise the mixer head on the stand mixer.
2) Fit the mixing bowl to the unit.
3) Insert your fruit and vegetable strainer bowl (3).
4) Insert the screen (fine or coarse) (2).
Operating Your Fruit and Vegetable Strainer
Coarse Screen:
1) Place the rough side up for removing fibers from
cooked vegetables (Ex. rhubarb and spinach),
and for pureeing fruit and vegetables
(Ex. bananas and cooked potatoes)
2) Place the smooth side up for straining cooked
fruit (Ex. plums)
Fine Screen:
3) Place the rough side up for pureeing cooked fruit
and vegetables (Ex. tomatoes and potatoes).
4) Place the smooth side up for flour and soft fruit
(Ex. raspberries)
