Explanation of functions/terms used
SUN PROTECTION FUNCTION
The sun protection function only starts from the upper end limit
and is only active in the sliding switch setting 'Auto'. The sun
threshold value is preset to an intermediate value (level 8).
If the sun threshold value is exceeded for longer than 3 minutes,
the awning moves downwards to the set intermediate position.
The lower end position is the intermediate position in the factory
setting.
If the sun threshold value is not achieved for longer than 15 min.,
the awning is retracted. A manual command (UP, STOP, DOWN)
in automatic mode deactivates the sun protection function until
the awning is moved to the upper end limit. An automatic time
command (e. g. i-R Timer Plus) deactivates the sun protection
function.
Sun threshold control switch
This control switch allows you to set the sun threshold values. The
sun threshold value can be set to 15 different levels. If you turn the
control switch slowly, the transmission control light will flash for
each level.
- Left limit stop = Level 1, extend when sun intensity is low
+ Right limit stop = Level 15, extend when sun intensity is high
