Preparing the Scale for Use

Selecting Installation Location

The correct location is crucial to the accuracy of the weigh-
ing results.
Select a stable, vibration-free and, if possible, a hori-
•
zontal location for the weighing platform.
• The ground must be able to safely bear the weight of
the fully loaded weighing platform.
• Observe the following environmental conditions:
– No direct sunlight
– No strong drafts
– No excessive temperature fluctuations

Installing the Scale

• Place the scale at the installation location.
Installation Model see Fig. 3-5 and installation dimen-

sion see Table 3-1.
If the scale is equipped with foot plates (Fig. 3-2), all
rocker feet should be located in the feet plate. Ensure that
the platform can be moved freely. Watch the level bubble
(See Fig. 3-4) if it shows the platform is not level adjust the
load cell's rocker-foot (see Fig. 3-2 or Fig. 3-3) in order to
make the platform level. The adjustable range is ±2mm.
If the scale is equipped with a ramp, check and adjust the
gap between the ramp and platform. The gap should be
kept 3~5 mm (see Fig. 3-1).
