Using the application tool

6 .3 Use with AMT- and MLT-Series cable ties

f For use with the AMT-Series (Figure
shown in Figure
f Apply a cable tie around the cable bundle
f Pull the strap end
f Tighten the cable tie by hand so that the cable tie rests tightly against the cable bundle.
f Push the open end of the exchangeable attachment
the end of the strap.
f Place the exchangeable attachment at a right angle and flush to the head of the cable tie.
f Actuate the trigger
NOTE
The cable bundle can be damaged if the tensile forces are too high.
f Do not over-tension the cable ties.
f To lock, bend the cable tie end over the cable tie head by turning the tool upwards (Figure
f Cut the cable tie end by actuating the cutting lever
f Knock the straps flat using a hammer (Figure
; AMT- or MLT-Series cable tie is correctly installed.

6 .4 Use with MBT-Series cable ties

f For use with the MBT-Series (Figure
