General Description
The TT1 (1:1) and TT2 (2:1) Transfer Pumps are designed to pump
extremely viscous products. The Transfer Pumps are comprised of
two components: an air motor and a fluid pump.
The pneumatic-powered air motor drives a piston within the
fluid pump that creates suction and can draw material from large
containers and deliver the material to an outside system.

The Transfer Pumps are available in two ratios: 1:1 (TT1) and 2:1 (TT2).

The maximum air inlet pressure is 180 PSI (1:1) and
120 PSI (2:1). See Technical Data, below.

Operation

Read and understand the instructions in this section
in order to correctly operate the Transfer Pump.
3.1

Pressure Relief Procedure

Follow the steps below in order to release the
pressure from the Transfer Pump.
1. Remove the fluid inlet from the material. Allow the pump to
run until all internal fluid has been pumped out.
2. Close the air valve.
3. Open the fluid outlet valve. The pump will operate slowly
until the pressure is completely released.
4. Close the fluid outlet valve.
5. Open the fluid drain valve that is required in your system.
Make sure waste containers are in place to catch the drainage.
Leave the fluid drain valve open until you are ready to pump
fluid again.

If the pressure is not completely relieved after
performing the above steps, the supply hose from
the transfer pump to the system may be clogged.
If so, very slowly loosen the hose and coupling
to relieve pressure gradually, and then loosen
completely. Clear the clog in the hose.
3.2
Flushing the Pump (first use)
The pump is tested at the factory with lightweight oil and remains
inside the pump to protect the pump parts. This fluid must be
flushed out with a compatible solvent prior to the transfer pump's
first use.
Over time, some particles may have settled inside of your system. In
order to flush any settled particles out of the pump, flush the entire
system after a period of time (recommended 90 days or less).
3.3

Priming the Pump

1. Close all of the air valves.
2. Close all of the fluid valves (fluid valve and fluid drain valve.)
3. Check all fitting components in this system are tightened.
4. Connect the air supply line to the air inlet of pump.
5. Connect the fluid inlet to the fluid source.
6. Open the bleed-type air valve.
7. Adjust the pressure of air regulator to 2~4 bars.
8. Open the fluid outlet valve slowly; operate the pump until the
fluid is pumped out steadily.
Do not allow the pump to run dry. operating the
pump in this condition or allowing it to run too
quickly can cause damage the pump. If the pump is
operating too quickly, reduce the air pressure.
Attention
To reduce the risk of injury, always follow the
Pressure Relief Procedure when instructed.
