DIVATOR HATCH
U S E R M A N U A L

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Divator Hatch is very easy to use. The action is simply pull to open, push to close.
Fully opened or fully closed is achieved by pulling or pushing the cap to its limits.
There is no half way or partial position if properly used.
The user may find it easier to open if a slight twisting motion is used.
Upon completion of the days diving, the Divator Hatch should be rinsed with clean
fresh water along with the rest of the diving gear used.
The Divator Hatch is equipped with a one-way valve placed on the inside end. This
is employed to ensure that the diver's exhaled breath is forced to exit through the
breathing valve. Failure to employ this valve will increase the build-up of carbon
dioxide within the mask.
With proper use and proper maintenance the Divator Hatch will provide excellent
service and long-term use.
Interspiro strongly suggests the complete overhaul of the Divator Hatch should occur
at least once a year. Only holders of a valid Interspiro service certificate may carry out
this overhaul. See overhaul instruction manual for in-depth procedures.
